Option 2 : Pupils describe relationship between two sides of Mathematical equations.

There are two types of objectives of teaching: general and specific. The specific objectives are those short term, immediate goals and purpose that may be achieved within the specified classroom transactions. **According to NCF-2005, the main goal of Mathematics education in school is the mathematization of the minds of children.**

The specific aims of mathematics education helps to design suitable methods for planning effective classroom learning process, curriculum, guide to prepare TLMs, prepare evaluation procedures etc. Thus, it is desirable to write the specific aims in action verbs **(for example, proving LHS = RHS)**. **The following are some of the specific objectives of mathematics education:**

**Specific objectives are short term immediate goals or purposes that may be achieved through the classroom instructional/educational process. Like, giving them instruction to prove LHS = RHS.**- Thus, we may call such an objective as an educational objective/instructional objective.
- In the case of classroom instructions, the teacher is concerned about bringing changes in the behaviour of learners and we call that specific objective as behavioural objective.
- Behavioural objectives are the objectives that written in behavioural terms.
- It explains the change in the state of behaviour of an individual on completion of a learning activity.

**It should be noted that developing understanding, interest in mathematics, and acquiring knowledge on Mathematical concepts are general objectives.**

**Hence, we conclude that '**Pupils describing the relationship between two sides of Mathematical equations' is a specific objective.
